I am a shoe guy, but I think this could be my first pair of Vans. Very comfortable shoe and can be worn everyday. The one thing is the tongue on one of the shoes keeps sliding to the side. I have had that problem with some other shoes in the past. Could be the way I lace them or something, and while it is annoying to keep readjusting the tongue, I would still recommend this as a good casual everyday shoe.
Pros: breaks in easy, looks great, cool colors, stylish, durable, comfortable
Cons: poor grip, poor cushioning

I got the Half Cab with flannel in the mail and I instantly liked them a lot. The bottoms are extremely white so they'll need to be broken in, but that's how all Van's are when they have white soles. I had been waiting for a colorway to come along in this model that I like so I could give them a shot. I have been wearing low tops for years so moving up the leg was a bit odd but I don't mind it at all after some time. The ONLY thing I am not entirely fond of is the size of the tongue. It's huge!
Pros: breaks in easy, looks great, good board feel, cool colors, stylish, comfortable, good grip
Cons: rips easy, soles wear out

These shoes are comfortable, look nice and are used for climbing on roofs and ridges , and grip verry well.They are not too hot for summer wear, and seem to hold up good.
