This is my 2nd pair and I love them. Very comfortable. No injuries since I changed my running style. My only complaint would be that the bottom wears out too fast. As I said this is my 2nd pair because the 1st were ready to wear through the sole. I got the 1st pair in May and had to replace them by Oct.
Pros: lightweight, runs true to size, comfortable

It did take me about a 2 weeks to get used to them, retraining muscles. I haven't had a chance to hit the pavement yet, just 5.6 miles on a treadmill for my weekend runs & 3 miles on the workday runs. Love them. I'm glad I found Eastbay also. They had them in stock with the color I wanted & shipped fast.
I was looking for a flat neutral shoe - just like a racing flat. What I got was a shoe that:: > narrows too much on lateral edge of the mid foot resulting in overhang & pain, > kicks up under the lateral edge of the mid foot, and > incorporates anti pronation hump even with the neutral innersoles in them. The pain along the lateral edges of feet grew every minute I wore them. So it's back to conventional shoes for me.
I'm a high arched neutral, a mid foot striker with no bio-mechanical problems.
Pros: nice wide toe box - made for people with 5 toes !, love the zero drop heel to toe, 2 types of inner soles
Cons: painful bumps under lateral side of feet

Great shoes for transitions and hard floors

I am a barefoot runner, actual barefoot, and I used my vibrams on trails, the problem is that I also work a paramedic in an ER where they don't allow vibrams. Also because of the hard floor and long hours of standing on it, I decided a little more padding would be nice, the problem is my toes splay out like they are naturally supposed to which limits shoe selection by about 99.9%. Introducing the altras, wide toe box, 2 different insoles (one without arch support which is great for us minimalist runners) and more padding. These would be great for a transitional runner looking to try minimalist style running without sacrificing padding for hard roads and sidewalks. They are light, comfortable and really nice looking. I highly recommend them.
Pros: lightweight, comfortable, wide toe box, 2 insoles 1 without arch support, great looking
Cons: for true minimalist may have to much padding
