This Max Air basketball shoe features a synthetic leather upper with molded panels for added support in the toe-cap and heel. A new, denser PU midsole and enhanced, large-volume Air-Sole® unit provides durability and comfortable cushioning, while the solid rubber outsole delivers top-notch traction. Wt. 18.9 oz.

Super limited QS from Nike... Not a real easy cop, but with a little patients my girl gotem for me... WIN!

Ive always wanted these shoes from the time my cousin came home with them back in early 1993.
Although they are slightly different from the originals I am not disappointed in any way.
Nubuck is different to suede ( seems more durable ) and the new vac tech is very different.

Takes some breaking in but, It's fairly comfortable once it is broken in. Didn't get the chance to get the OGs but these will more than make up for it. Hopefully NSW will come out with a retro true to the original.

I actually played Junior High basketball in these shoes, and they have always been my favorite - I think the Fab 5 and Barkley wore them, and when I saw them being re-released, I just had to have them - still a great shoe, a little heavier than basketball shoes today, but very sturdy and comfortable
Pros: durable, comfortable
Cons: heavy, not breathable

The Fab 5 Air Force Max is my favorite shoe of all time, period. Last time these were retroed in 06 or 07 I picked up four pairs. However, this time around, Nike decided to give these shoes the Vac-Tech treatment and it leaves the shoe looking a bit cheap. Still a classic, but they should have left well enough alone and they still would have sold out.

I've wanted these shoes since their original release back in the early 90's but never got the chance until this recent release. I was like a kid at christmas when they arrived and they exceeded my expectations.
I was a huge fan of the FAB 5 @ Michigan and this was a pair of kicks that was a must have for my collection. I actually should have bought another pair...
