The Nike Zoom Soldier VI basketball shoe features a zonal performance Hyperfuse constructed upper that reduces layers and provides lightweight strength and increased breathability. Phlyon™ midsole with lightweight responsive bottom-loaded Nike Zoom™ unit in the heel and top-loaded Nike Zoom™ unit in the forefoot. Solid rubber outsole with modified herringbone traction with signature details embedded in low traction areas. Wt. 12.5 oz.

The color was chiped off the toe from the first time wearing them at a basketball game. My son says that they are very comfortable and have great traction.

The colour is actually a fluoro orange, the light exposure is not bright enough to detail the true colour in the photo. If your looking for the brightest shoe on the court, these are definitely for you! Your team mates will definitely find you on the fast break. Another thing is, I have skidded a few times when changing speeds and have nearly fell flat on my backside, though it could be the court floor. Overall, good decent mid ankle kicks with nice strap to make you fell strapped in. The hyperfuse, phylon and zoom makes these babies very comfortable. By the way, I was wearing KDIII before I got these and they were renowned for the comfort and price, so its a good comparison as it shares most the same phylon and zoom technology, minus the slippage!
Pros: good ankle support, easy to clean, comfortable

The traction on these is bananas! The fit is great, when they're laced up tight with the strap locked down the shoe is perfectly wrapped around my foot. Toebox is pretty roomy but they were rough on my pinky toes the first time I played in them.

shipping was fast. wore them straight out of the box onto the court, no break in necessary. very light weight and the strap keeps everything in place. this over the hyperdunks anyday because its just as comfortable and more durable than the hyperdunks. A must have for every serious baller

Excellent Fit, traction and support for a small amount. The shoe fits my foot and my game perfectly. Very good court feel with a lot of cushioning. Traction is excellent. I had zero heel slip and I love the asymmetrical ankle collar (just like the AJ XIV). Very lightweight for such a supportive shoe. Upper is very durable and does not get dirty easily. I went up .5 since Lebrons usually run small

My son needed new basketball shoes and had found these a couple of months back. After looking at all the options, he was set on the Soldier 6's, so I ordered them as a surprise gift for his 17th birthday, and he was so excited when they arrived. He says they are everything he had hoped for in a basketball shoe to take him through this summer and his senior year. They hardly needed to be broken in and he is using them everyday. Great product!

shoes fits just right and with good snug on your ankle. sticks to the court with good grasp on the floor and at the same time, you can easily switch stance while playing. good shoes but it would be better if they can further reduce the weight like that of the hyperdisruptor.

I've only owned two other pairs of basketball shoes that I liked as well as I like these. The combination of cushion and support is well-balanced and they are quite like though they don't quite look like they would be. I wish they were available in purple, but all-black is available and that's always good; more shoes should have that option.
