ASICS® Gel - Kinsei 4 - Women's
The ASICS® GEL-Kinsei™ 4 is a moderate, neutral running shoe designed for daily training and high mileage. Heel Clutching System uses an exoskeletal structure that wraps the heel for a secure fit. Cuprothermo metallic film retains heat in cold weather to keep feet warm and dissipates heat in warm weather to keep feet cool. Biomorphic Fit® provides superior fit and function. Open mesh helps keep feet cool. PHF™ (Personalized Heel Fit) memory foam lined heel collar molds to the heel for a snug, comfortable fit. Asymmetrical Lacing Design better follows the shape of the foot for an improved fit. Solyte™ midsole with GEL® Cushioning System enhances shock attenuation and allows for improved toe off position. Guidance Line is a vertical flex groove in the forefoot for improved gait efficiency. Propulsion Trusstic System® utilizes a thermal plastic unit that connects the lateral heel to the medial forefoot. This unit works to release stored energy and propel you forward during toe-off. Impact Guidance System (IGS®) design creates a smooth and balanced heel-to-toe transition. ASICS® High Abrasion Rubber (AHAR®) in the heel is made of carbon rubber for exceptional durability. DuraSponge in the forefoot is made from a blown AHAR compound, for responsive cushioning and flexibility. DuoSole® outsole provides lightweight, flexible, and durable traction. Removable insole. I have worn only asics for years and have worn the 2170 and many kayanos. This is the most comfortable by far, I really love the heel support technology of this shoe. It feels like Im walking on air. I would highly recommend them to anyone. My customized orthotics fit well in them as well. I get nonstop compliments on the wild colors of them. I'm a nurse working 12 hour shifts and my these met my needs of comfort for the shift. I will definitely be buying more of these, well worth the money. Look forward to seeing what other colors they come out with.

Just recently started to run with the 'Ease into 5k' app and really needed a good comfortable running shoe. Browsing online these most definitely caught my eye and I just had to have them!! My very 1st pair of Asics and I do believe I'm hooked now!! What else could a girl ask for in a shoe, they're stylish and comfortable!! Would highly recommend!!!!

I gave this pair to my wife as a birthday present and she absolutely loved it. This is her first pair pair of Asics & definitely won't be the last. She really liked vibrant colors. She's going to test it on her next marathon & compare it to he adidas pairs.

Saw a girl with these and had to have them. These were my first pair of Asics (I've been a Nike Vomero girl) and I love them. The extra padding around the heel and ankle keep me from getting blisters while kickboxing and running. Great shoes, they look pretty darn cool and I am definitely a new Asics fan.

What great running shoes!! They have it all comfort, support and Style. People turn their heads!! Fit is true to size. Great arch support. Big but not too big toe box. Cush in footbed good (could still use a little more especially pad area but this is true for me in all shoes. I tend to walk on my toes and balls of feet) Heels a little tight but no blisters. And the colors are Awesome!!! So different. Pricey but worth it if for no other reason than they make you smile when you look down at your feet!!! And that is Jinga!!

I love the idea of different colored shoes! Who says your shoes have to match! They go with all my bright colored work out clothes, they are very comfortable even after having them on ALL day. I thought they might be one of those shoes that look great but feel horrible. Not the case with Asics. I go through a lot of tennis shoes and have every popular brand in my closet. The Asics Gel is by far my favorite. Comfort and color -what more could a girl want?!?

I have been loyal to ASICS for the past 10 years. I run about 25-30 miles per week. I was drawn to these because of the wild colors, but the fit and comfort are there too. Would definitely continue to purchase unique ASICS styles from Eastbay!!!

I've worn Kayano's for years but always have to replace the standard inserts before wearing. Ordered these with the hope that the inserts wouldn't need to be changed...wrong. The shoe felt cushy while walking but not while running. The first 30 minutes of my run were okay but the second 30 minutes were painful. I needed more arch support when running and the right shoe felt like something was wadded under the ball of my foot. So I replaced the inserts with my usual gel inserts. Again during the second half of my run, there was some issue with the right shoe...but not as painful as the first run. The third run was problem free and comfortable so maybe they just needed some breaking in besides the inserts. For the price of the shoes plus the added cost of the inserts, I'll go back to the Kayano's next purchase. Colors are fun.
