The Nike Free 3.0 v4 is a minimal running shoe that blends the strengthening and injury-prevention benefits of barefoot running with the comfort and protection of a shoe. Nanoply engineered suede composite upper is laser perforated in strategic zonal areas of upper to provide adaptive fit. Seamless innersleeve tongue construction. Off-set 17/13mm heel to forefoot drop. Transtarsal hot knife sipes offer natural motion flexibility. IU midsole foam adds lightweight durability. BRS 1000™ carbon rubber and environmentally-preferred rubber inserts enhance durability at high-wear zones. Non-removable insole. Wt. 6.9 oz.

Love everything about this shoe. I feel great when I put them on! They are lighweight and comfortable plus they were on sale. What more could you ask for? I am a girl. I just ordered 1.5 sizes smaller than my normal running shoe size. Fit perfect. Nike should make this color for women.

The shoe is absolutely great, and I would in deed recommend it. It has a great design and i get compliments all the time. However the size conversion from men sizes to women sizes is off. I'm a female and I bought these for myself because there wasn't the same color choice for women's. Usually men and women sizes are between 1.5 and 2 sizes apart. In this shoe, however, it's only one size different, so my shoes 1/2 a size smaller. I would recommend checking the size chart first and if you have a wide foot get 1/2 a size bigger.
Back on a good note, the shoes are very comfortable for walking, but not for extended periods of standing. With each step my foot sinks down into the cushions.

i like the look and feel, but they run narrow and i had to return them. My feet maybe wide but most standard width fit me fine.

My son wanted these lightweight shoes for track. The very first day he wore them the toe of one of the shoes was ruined as he was doing his track field event , the high jump. A few days later he showed me where the fabric started ripping, right in the middle of the shoe on top of the foot. It was unraveling and now there is a hole on the top of the shoe. I was very disappointed in this shoe due to the price and popularity of it.

My son wore this pair of shoes for two days and one of the shoes split down the side by his little toe. The material has some dimpling and the split went right through the dimples.
