Nike Zoom Rotational 5 - Men's
The Nike Zoom Rotational 5 is designed for the advanced shot put, discus, hammer and 35lbs thrower looking for the most technically advnaced throwing shoe. Durable mesh upper with a seamless vamp and a forefoot rand. Midfoot strap and an external heel counter delivers excellent lockdown. Full-length thin EVA midsole provides low-profile, lightweight protection. Full-length BRS 1000™ smooth rubber outsole with a full-length Pebax® plate gives excellent durability, responsive underfoot feel and improved fit. Non-removable insole. Wt. 13.0 oz.

My son started the season in different shoe. Several coaches recommended he get a shot put shoe. It worked. He gained 2 feet at the first meet in the new shoes!! Allowed him to maintain his momentum and get maximum results. He is now in the top three in state.

If you don't have the spin mastered these shoes will not do you justice. Great shoes for slightly more advanced throwers!!

Daughter says that the rotational shoe helps to place her feet in the proper throwing poaition. She has thrown 15 feet further since changing shoes.

Hard bottom allows easy transitions from support phases to power position. Maximizes speed of rotation and transitions.
Pros: lightweight, runs true to size, durable

My other two throwing shoes have been the Nike Zoom's as well. And this one tops them all. Great design, but more importantly, great sole for spinning quickly. I'm a girl (very competitive high school senior) who has size 11 in womens and 10.5 in mens- fits fine. Worth the money; plus, this is the cheapest place to buy it too. Elevates your game. So, don't hesitate! (In buying this and when throwing in the circle)
Pros: lightweight, durable, comfortable, wicked smooth souls for spinning qucikly, looks intense

Found this shoe was great for my son's field events. Good surface for spinning on. I would recommend this shoe to people who are looking for throwing shoes.

I bought the same shoe, but last year's model for my son last year. He wore them out. This is a WONDERFUL shoe. We will buy it over and over. It is perfect for both shot put and discus and my son is a state-ranked varsity athlete in both events.

My son used this shoe in 8- track meets and the bottom of the shoe craked and came apart. He only used these shoes in meets. He used his old shoes all other times. His old shoes are 3- years old

They are great shoes if you are a pretty decent thrower. I wouldn't recommend it for someone that's not very advanced in throwing yet though. You really need to be working on spinning hard, if that's not a big concern, I'd probably get the lower priced ones that are very similar to this shoes. They give you a good lift to keep you on your toes! The only problem I had with them was that they are a little small in length. I wear an 11 in women's so I got a 9.5 (and it even says on the box women's 11) and they hurt my feet some, but I didn't have time to exchange them, so I just wear thin socks. Plus they are very durable so they wont break in. Besides sizing, great shoes!

The shoes were used only one time in competition,the second time the buckle broke used to strap and secure the shoes in place. I brought these shoes because my son recommeneded them as a brand he used before. I am a runner and coach and never had a problem with this brand before in twenty years.
