Customer Reviews for adidas Predator Pro Moldable Guards

adidas Predator Pro Moldable Guards

The downside of soccer shinguards is that they often end up feeling bulky or not fitting properly. adidas fixed that problem with the adidas Predator Pro Moldable Guards. These guards use a TPR soft shield front that provides high-strength impact protection with a flexible front plate that molds against your shins. The soft synthetic lining adds more comfort, while the compression sleeve takes away the need for irritating straps and actually supports blood flow. Made of 100% polypropylene, the adidas Predator Pro Moldable Guards are your choice for comfort. NOCSAE® certified.

I must offset the person that rated this a 1 due to the fact that they misread the description. My son has used a pair for the past two seasons. This is five days a week for a minimum use. Although they smell like they are two years old, he hasn't asked for a new pair and they aren't worse for wear. Many of his teammates went with the mercurials which are much lighter.. but they don't offer the coverage of these.
Pros: high performance, durable, comfortable

Shinguards were not "moldable" as its name implies

The product name and description led me to believe that these shinguards could be molded to cutom-fit my shins. I expected the "molding" process to include boiling the shinguards until pliable, then shaping them around my shins, which was not the case: they were like any other standard shinguards. I returned them back to Eastbay.
